Kristen Stewart Fashion Is Closing

This post has been written and re-written several times within the last week or so. I’ve had the most wonderful experience running this website, meeting new friends and conversing with fans over the last year or so. After careful consideration i have decided to stop posting on this blog. This is mainly due to commitments towards my own education, i feel i can not give this site the time and commitment i have given it in the past. Unfortunately i feel these standards can not be currently upheld.

I’d like to thank every single person who has ever taken the time to read any of these blog posts, left comments and personally e-mailed me over the last year. You are all truly and greatly appreciated by myself and Maria.

I’d also like to say the largest thank you to Maria. Not only has she become a friend but she gave this blog her time, talent and commitment.

The blog will still be open for anyone who wishes to view past posts however no new posts will be available on the site starting Monday the 7th March.

Thank you and all the best, thank you for making this blog such a wonderful experience.

Kristen was spotted at LAX airport on February 18th. The actress wore her signature relaxed and casual attire consisting of some fabulous vintage Jet by John Eshaya Rebel Skinny Jeans. She paired them with some fantastic Vans Wellesley Women’s Hiker Skate Shoes which you can purchase HERE from Vans official webpage for just $60.

Accessories included an Urban Outfitters Ecote Canvas Rucksack. Oliver Peoples vintage re-released O’Malley sunglasses completes the look. This frame is part of a re-release of vintage looks that were acquired by Oliver Peoples founder Larry Leight. With the re-release of this vintage O’Malley frame being from 1988. The Vintage Re-Release collection will be available at Oliver Peoples boutiques and select Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

Makeup Fridays: Vogue February 2011

Needless to say I loved this look although in some pictures there was a little too much photo-shopping, but I think everyone can agree on that! Now on to the look, sorry about the lateness of this but if you lose an internet connection at University here, you don't get it back for hours! Hopefully this makes up for it.

FACE
Before applying my foundation I exfoliated and moisturised using Nivea Soft moisturiser. Then using a MAC 190 foundation brush, I applied the foundation over the face, lips and brows. Only after I applied the rest of the makeup did I set the look with a brown blush for contouring purposes and a light powder.

EYES
If you need to apply a primer now to the eyelid. For this you can use the actual colour used on Kristen which was Iridescent Violet by Estee Lauder or you can use a dark, warm brown. Seeing as the colour is not available in the UK I used a brown. I applied it using a regular eyeshadow brush to the eyelid only and blended the shadow upwards only slightly. Then, line the lower lid with a lighter brown. Next to define your eyes even more, apply a black liner to the top lid and blend. Then, once you've done your brows apply a white or creamy white colour under the brow, and apply loads of mascara to the top lashes and not so much to the lower lid.

BROWS
You want to make your brows a very dark, chocolate brown colour. The perfect colour for this is the same shadow I've used for my eyes, "Unmentionables" by Too Faced. It is best to use an angled brush for this.

First of all I have to say something about Kristen's Vogue Cover. I cannot believe I missed it. Gorgeous cover shoot she looks absolutely gorgeous, and next weeks makeup tutorial is covered!

Back today's tutorial. I loved her outfit and her makeup. Her makeup was usually how Kristen wears her makeup but there was something different and stunning about it. Credits to the look go to Jilian Dempsey.

FACE
After exfoliating and moisturising my skin I applied my foundation in a light sheer layer. Kristen's face, as usual, is flawless so keep it natural. Once you've finished your eyes and brows, apply a bronzing blush to the cheek bones and a nude pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and set with a powder.

EYES
Apply a primer if you wish now and apply "Lap Dance" or a medium brown or a warm brown colour to the entire lid right up to the brow bone. Apply this colour as a liner shadow on the lower lid. Next apply a pencil gel liner to the top lid from the outer corner to just over half way over your lid. Then blend. If you're using a gel liner this will be incredibly easy to do. Apply and blend until you get your desired colour although you want to keep it subtle especially if you're using a black liner like i did instead of a grey liner as Kristen has. Blend the liner into a subtle flick at the outer corner and into the inner corner.

Next using a fine liner brush, apply the pixi liner into a flick at the outer corner. I find it easier to find where the flick is meant to be by placing the end of a makeup brush at the tip of your nose and follow the handle to the corner of your eye and to the tip of your brow. Then, keeping this line in mind, apply the liner. i find it easy to apply the flick by starting on the outside and working my way towards the eye itself instead of drawing the flick out. Then using the pencil liner again, apply it softly to the waterline of the lower lid. Before applying mascara, apply a white or a soft, creamy white like "In The Buff" to just below the brow. Then fill in your brows if you need to and apply mascara.

BROWS
For my brows i've used the colour "Unmentionables" by Too Faced and used an angled brush to apply it. To add more texture to your brows add a layer of clear mascara over the top.

LIPS
Keep it natural, air on the side of nude pink or clear colours. A clever tip to make your natural lip look fuller, apply a brightening liquid like Benefit's High Beam/Moon Beam to the cupids bow and the skin just below your bottom lip and blend.

Kristen attended the Peoples Choice Awards yesterday evening wearing a stunning gold Reem Acra Dress from the Spring 2011 Collection. Naturally the dress has been slightly modified for Kristen’s petite frame. I simply adore the gold metallic tones complimenting not only her hair but her skin. Black Jimmy Choo peep toe slingback pumps and Chanel jewels complete this fabulous look.

DKNY to dress Kristen?

As I’m sure many of you have heard, DKNY tweeted that they had received a dress request from Kristen and would be sending her samples for fittings. It appears they are hinting that they will be dressing her in a gown which leads me to believe her dress could be inspired by the Spring 2011 Donna Karan Collection. You can view this full collection HERE, I’m sure you’ll agree Kristen would look angelic and ever so elegant dressed in some of these designs.

I’ve attached my wish list below however if this is a hint of things to come we may be seeing Kristen on the red carpet very soon.

Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I'm doing a really quick, simple and easy tutorial for you. Again, I'm so sorry for the lack of makeup videos but I'm hoping to make it up to you in the coming weeks.

So here is my makeup tutorial for Kristen's most recent appearance on Regis & Kelly.

FACE

After moisturising with Nivea soft moisturiser, I blended my two foundation together and applied it in a sheer - medium layer using my fingers. There was no need for powder as I was using an effective matte foundation.

EYES

After applying the primer, I applied a cream colour in a thick layer to the eyelid only. Then I applied a dark brown colour to the socket and blended it. I repeated this step until the shadow was dark enough without any harsh lines. Then, I applied a black eye liner to the upper lid as close to the lash line as possible in a thin line and then smudged the line using my thin eye shadow brush. Next I coloured my brows using a dark brown brow pencil. You may add a clear mascara over your brows to keep them in place. Then apply mascara and you’re done with the look.

Kristen was spotted in full Bella Swan attire filming what appears to be honeymoon scenes for Breaking Dawn.

Make Up Fridays

FACE

Start off by applying foundation on your face and over your lips too. Make sure you blend it well especially around the jaw line. You can also apply powder and a medium to light brown blush to the cheekbones.

EYES

After applying the primer, apply the YDK by padding the colour onto your upper lid. Make sure the colour is strong. Next apply the Twice Baked to the outer half of the lid, again padding it on and making it very strong. Next, use the YDK again as a liner colour for you lower lid. Apply it all the way from the inner to the outer corner. Next apply the Twice Baked as a liner also to the outer half of the lower lid. Next, using a blending brush, blend the top lid’s colours and the Twice Baked outwards into a flick. You may also blend the lower lid, but make sure it retains the liner shape you’ve made. Do not drag the colour downwards. The top lid should be the main focus. Then, apply a black liner to the outer half of the top lid only and smudge the liner. Finally apply mascara

BROWS

For brows, brush out your brows and add a dark brown colour if your brows aren’t dark already, and coat with a layer of clear mascara.

LIPS

For lips, apply a red lipstick. For this I used a Rimmel London lipstick which are the best brand for lipsticks in my opinion. If you aren’t comfortable wearing a lipstick or want something a little more durable, use Barry M’s lip liner in 003.

Usual steps apply here. I used a generic Boots foundation brush to apply my foundation. I applied it over my eyebrows but not my lips as I wanted my natural colour to show through. Add powder if you haven’t used the STAY MATTE FOUNDATION as I gave. Next, using a Ruby & Mille blush brush, I applied a medium brown blush underneath my cheekbones.

EYES

After applying the primer, I applied the HALF BAKED colour to the lid and as a liner on the lower lid with a Ruby & Mille eye shadow brush. Next, I applied the TWICE BAKED to the socket and half way across the lower lid and blended the colours using a blending brush. Finally I applied the silver colour from the RIMMEL LONDON palette to the eye lid. Apply quite a lot of this colour as you want it to stand out.

Next, apply liner to the outer halves of both lids and smudge inwards and slightly upwards. Then apply more black liner and smudge it a bit again. Finally apply mascara.

LIPS

Keep it natural and stay towards the pinks.

Kristen attended the taping of the 2010 Scream Awards yesterday evening looking stunning and debuting her brunette ‘Bella’ locks for Breaking Dawn filming. If you haven’t already, check out the Bella Swan Dream Wedding Dress competition HERE.

Kristen looked absolutely stunning in a fantastic geometric dress from GUiSHEM’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The dress was a fantastic fit and complimented Kristen’s tiny frame. I also adore the one shouldered look here, it reminds me of the Preen dress Kristen wore for her Nylon shoot. The look was completed with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti contrast glitter heel platform pumps.

FACE

I started off by mixing a pale foundation with a slightly darker one to make the perfect shade. You don’t have to do this, I’m doing it because the Rimmel foundation is slightly darker than my natural shade and the Gosh foundation is too pale. Since I used a Stay Matte foundation, I don’t need a powder. I also added foundation to the lips and eyebrows as there will be colour going over them. You may use a powder if you wish. Next I added a medium brown blush underneath the cheekbones to create definition.

EYES

After adding the primer I applied YDK to both lids with a fluffy blending brush. Then, using a thin brush I applied the Twice Baked to the top lid as a liner and blended the two existing colours slightly. Finally I added the Midnight Cowboy to the top lid mainly for the sparkle it gives (this is to replicate the sparkle which Kristen wears on her top lid). Next I added black liner to the top waterline and finished the look off with black mascara.

For brows use a dark brown pencil as her brows are quite dark, as most of you will know, there aren’t her natural shade on this particular occasion as she dyed them to match her hair colour. Despite this, I think they went very well with the rest of the look .

LIPS

For lips keep it natural. I used Avon “Luxe Lace” Lipstick in Pout.

And this week, I couldn’t get a decent internet connection in Portstewart so I had to upload it at home in Belfast. Hope you can all forgive me as I plan to do Kristen’s Leno look for next week.

FACE

Start off with the usual facial routine. Here I’ve mixed the two foundations as the Gosh is too pale and the Rimmel a shade too dark. I applied the foundation over my lips as there will be a lip colour going over it. You may use a powder to achieve the matte finish, but since I have used the STAY MATTE foundation, I didn’t need powder. No bronzer or blusher is needed. If you want, you can add a light coloured brown blush to the cheekbones.

EYES

Start off with a primer potion. Next, add the silvery colour from the Rimmel palette to the eyelid and as a liner colour on the lower lid. Next add a black shadow to the lash line in a medium thickness line from the inner to outer corner. You don’t want the black to be too dark, you want a dark grey colour. Be careful as black is a tricky colour to apply. Apply it gradually and not all at once. With a blending brush, blend the silver and black. Apply the colour so the is a gradation of colour; the black on the inner corner should be lighter than the outer corner.

Next apply a black liner to the outer half of the lower lid and smudge the colour downwards and inwards towards the inner corner. As an extra step you can add more of the silver to the lower lid but make sure it doesn’t interfere with the black liner.

For eyebrows, all you would need is a clear mascara to hold them in place. Keep them natural or add a light brown colour to them (before the clear mascara).

Finally add mascara and you’re done with the look!

LIPS

Keep it natural. Stick to pink and peach tones for lipstick and lipgloss. Whichever you prefer.

A wonderful casual look for Kristen, i adore the jacket on her along with the blonde locks. I’m sure the Bella hair will be returning soon.

Breaking Dawn Polyvore Contest

Pre Production for Breaking Dawn has officially begun, stars will begin rehearsals and such very soon. As I'm sure many of you have in fact read the novel, you will know that Bella and Edward become Husband and Wife.

This weeks 'Who Wore It Better?’ includes one of my favourite look from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2009 Collection. The stunning black mermaid style gown includes one asymmetric strap over the shoulder.

Both Kristen and Lady GaGa have graced this gown in magazine prints. Kristen for her November 2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar in a spread with Robert Pattinson to promote New Moon and Lady GaGa for a spread in Vogue UK.

I think you’ll agree both are very dramatic looks for me GaGa has the edge.

FACE
Usual steps apply for foundation and powder. Add a little moisturiser before you put on your foundation to provide a better base. Apply powder to the jaw line, nose, chin and forehead.

EYES
After applying a primer, apply the “Midnight Cowboy” to the eyelid and lower lid. If you are using this exact colour be careful as there is A LOT of glitter! Next apply the “Twice Baked” colour to the sockets. Don’t use too much of this colour. Next, just blend the colours. Then apply liner to the top lid in a thin line and smudge the liner a bit. You can also add liner to the bottom lid but very lightly and smudge the line a little.

The usual steps for eyebrows apply also. First brush out the brows then add colour where it’s needed. Then add a thin layer of the clear mascara to hold the hairs in place. Then add mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

LIPS
For lips, just add a clear, nude or pale pink lip gloss or lip balm. Just remember to keep it natural.

Kristen was recently included on People magazines ‘Best Dressed’ of 2010 winning ‘Best Metallic’ for her Dolce and Gabbana Tweed and Metallic Brocade Mini Dress she wore to the MTV Movie Awards 2010. Marias Note: Hey guys! Just an update on this week’s makeup Friday tutorial. Unfortunately my dentist appointment yesterday went worse than I’d hoped and I have another appointment on Monday morning. Therefore, this week’s tutorial will be uploaded and posted next Friday (24th September), and it will be the Rome Photocall for Eclipse. I’m so sorry about this and I hope you can forgive me for it. Kristen wore her Siwy Camilla Cut-Off Denim Shorts which she has previously worn late 2009 outside of her home, you can view the full breakdown Here. You can purchase these shorts Here for $154. Kristen paired her shorts with a Beastie Boys 1987 Vintage tour tee. This particular tee was sold on the Licensed To Ill tour, and caused problems for the concert promoters and so was toned down in later versions. This tee is rare and is hard to find with the price tag being around $250. Kristen topped the look off with some vintage Mickey Mouse printed Vans Sneakers.

Elle US & UK Outtakes

Here is a collection of Elle outtakes in the one place. These looks were not featured in the magazine spread itself but some of my favourite looks are here.

This particular outtake is a favourite of mine and features Kristen wearing Dolce and Gabanna’s trademark Leopard print. This particular dress is a green Dolce & Gabbana Leopard Print Bustier Dress from the Fall 2010 Collection which was paired with a Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2010 Chantilly Lace short sleeved overlay top. I adore the pop of green on Kristen, definitely a colour she should experiment with in the future.

Who Wore It Better?

This weeks ‘Who Wore It Better?’ is the battle of the photoshoots. We should expect Kristen to finish filming ‘On The Road’ within several weeks as pre-production for Breaking Dawn begins in October. For now there is no new sightings to report.

I’ve selected this Chanel Fall 2008 Collection Strapless Lace Ruffled Dress which has been worn by Kristen in a photoshoot for Vanity Fair. This appears to be a favourite look by most fans and was paired with some black Converse All Star High Top Sneakers. Both Claudia Schiffer (sporting a dark bob) and Rachel Bilson have also worn this dress during shoots for different magazines.

All three women bring something different to the look and make it their own, i think they all look fantastic. Who do you think wore it better?

FACE
Usual face routine applies here. I applied foundation using a foundation brush, making sure to cover my brows and lips. Then I used a brightening primer as a highlighter on my cheekbones and nose. Then I applied powder. Next I applied a medium brown blush in a “3” shape on the side of my face.

EYES
First I started with my brows. I brushed them out using a brow brush then filled bits of them in using a brow pencil. And to hold the hairs in place I used a clear mascara. Next I applied the primer potion to my eyelids and using a fluffy blending brush, applied the colour sin. I also applied this in a thin line on the lower lid. Next using a thin brush I applied the colour Chopper in a thin line, over the top of the sin. Basically as an outline. Then using a normal eye shadow brush, I applied twice baked to the eyelid only and in a thin line on the lower lid. Then I used polyester bride to highlight my brow bones.

Then using a cream liner and a thin liner brush, I drew a thick line on my top lid. (Gradually getting bigger as the line progresses), and ending in a subtle, small flick. Then I applied the liner in a thin but strong line on the lower lid and smudged it a bit. Next you apply mascara and you’re eye makeup will be done.

LIPS
For lip colour use a natural colour or a clear gloss. Don’t make your lips too strong as strong eyes and lips are never a good look. It’s always either one or the other.

Usual drill for the face. I applied my foundation with a brush for better coverage and powder to reduce shine. Then using a medium brown (not applying too much) i highlighted my cheekbones.

EYES

Next apply a primer potion and apply the colour "Chopper" to the eyelid with a fluffy brush. extend the colour only slightly past the crease. Apply to to the lower lid also in a thin – medium line. Next apply a medium brown colour to the eyelid only. Don’t make it too strong. Next apply the cream liner with a thin liner brush. Apply it in a medium – thick line and draw a small flick at the end. then using the pencil liner, apply it lightly to the lower lid. Then smudge the top of the cream liner slightly. Next apply mascara and you’re done.

LIPS

For lips, just add clear or natural gloss, or lipstick .

Kristen kept it casual as she hung out on set with co-star Garrett Hedlund, they are doing some pre-production before they begin shooting on the 7th I believe. Also it’s Garrett Hedlund’s birthday today so a very happy birthday to him from everyone here at Kristen Stewart Fashion.

Kristen wore her favourite Market Milla Ottoman Stripe Boyfriend Tee which you can purchase Here for $38. She has worn this particular tee several times throughout 2010, Market has become her favourite tee brand this year. Kristen wore her Oliver Peoples ‘Pierson’ sunglasses which have become a new favourite of hers recently, you can view more on this frame Here and follow Oliver Peoples on Twitter Here. Kristen also brought out her Unbleached White CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star Lo Top Canvas Sneakers which she has worn on several occasions since 2008. Argentina Airport

Kristen was pictured at an airport in Argentina with her ‘On the Road’ co-stars Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund. She is wearing her DOE ‘I heart Staches’ V-Neck Tee which she has previously worn twice last year. Once during a photoshoot (some of the photos were used as a backdrop for her recent Elle US photoshoot) and leaving the Chateau Marmont on August 6th last year. Hi everyone, just a quick post from me right now. I’ll add any details if i spot them next week, unfortunately I'm blogging from bed ill but next week I'll be making up for my absence next week.

Kristen was spotted in Argentina as she continues to film ‘On the Road’. She wore the same Converse Chuck Taylor All Star NEEHI Denim and Plaid Sneakers she wore at Sundance 2010, you can view that particular breakdown Here. These Converses feature blue denim with red and black buffalo plaid wool lining and rawhide laces. This particular model happen to be rare, they are featured Here on sneakers.pair.com. Kristen wears a Diesel K-Pend Grey Pullover which she has previously worn whilst travelling last year. The pullover features ribbed collar, cuffs and waistband with a drawstring hood and the signature Diesel logo at the hem. I love that she is not afraid to wear something more than once. Her darker hooded top appears to be her EC Star Nuns with Guns Hoodie due to the faded colour however any other pictures reveal it not to be I'll change the details ASAP.

She wants to say she’s sorry that she hasn’t been posting a lot but she will be back next week. I want to say thank you for those who sent in suggestions for my new Youtube channel. FACE

I didn’t use any primer for this look as the Gosh foundation has excellent coverage which lasts all day without a primer. It’s an excellent foundation which I would recommend getting. The shade I’ve used is the palest colour you can get and looks white on the video but isn’t really that pale. I applied it using a foundation brush all over the face. Then a put a light layer of powder over the foundation. Then I applied a medium brown blush in the shape of a “3” from the temple, down underneath the cheekbones and underneath the jaw line. Then I applied a pink blush on my cheekbones and lightly over the apples of my cheeks.

EYES

After applying a primer to the eye lid and in a thin line on the lower lid, apply a black shadow to the eye lid only. Gradually build up the black. Don’t pile on a huge amount all at once, otherwise, you’ll end up with tremendous amounts of fall down on your cheeks which is not a good look. Don’t be too neat with the shadow and create a subtle gradient of colour making the shadow darker at the top. Then using a black liner, fill in the bits you missed along the top lash line. Again, you don’t want to be too neat with this. Same with the lower lash line. Using a pencil liner in black apply a thin and not too neat line along the waterline into the inner corner of the eye. Before applying mascara, brush out your brows and using a dark brown colour fill in your brows. Make your brows as horizontal as your can. Don’t make too high of an arch. Make the start of your brows quite square and strong. Apply a light layer of clear mascara over them to keep the hairs in place all day. Then apply mascara. Go overboard with the mascara on the top lid. You can apply mascara to the lower lashes but not too much or none at all.

LIPS

First apply a pink lipstick. The one I’ve found is the perfect colour and I would really recommend this colour. It’s the most beautiful shade of pink. To make the colour pop add a bit of clear gloss over the middle of your lips.

FACE
After applying a generous layer of foundation using a foundation brush, apply a powder over key areas such as nose, t-zone and chin. Then apply a medium bronzer to your cheekbones, jaw line and a small amount on temples.

EYES
If you are using a cream based shadow you will not need primer. Apply the base colour all over the eyelid and smudge upwards, and in a thin line on the lower lash line. This base colour should be the same shade as your skin or one or two shades lighter. Next apply a burnt orange (Chopper) colour using a blending brush above the crease. Next using a thinner brush, apply a medium brown colour (Twice Baked) to the eyelid only. Next, apply black liner to the top lid only in a thin line as close to the lash line as possible. Smudge the line a bit to give that soft edge. Clean the thinner brush and apply a black shadow to the corner and push the colour inwards but don’t overdo the black. This colour must be subtle and used as an addition to the black liner. Next apply a silver/white/glitter (Uzi) shadow to the lower lash lid. Again, don’t overdo this colour. It’s meant to be subtle.

For the brows again keep it natural as this is 2008 and Kristen has her natural colour of brow. First, brush out your eyebrows and apply a light natural colour to fill in the brow. Then apply the clear mascara in no fancy manner to help the hairs stay in place.

Finally apply mascara and a pale pink/nude/natural lip gloss and you’re done with the look!

FACE

Apply foundation as normal. Make sure you have good coverage without any lines. Make sure you blend well especially at the jaw and hair lines. Then apply a powder paying special attention to your chin and t-zone. Then apply a medium to dark bronzer to you cheekbones and jaw line. (More so on the cheekbones).

EYES

After applying the primer apply a light or pale shadow to the entire eyelid (right up to the brow) and on the lower lid. Next apply a light or burnt brown colour to the socket. Light spread the colour above the crease. This should give subtle definition.

Next you will begin to apply the eyeliner i would advise using a cream eyeliner and a liner brush as these are really thin and makes it easier for you to work. However, an angled brush would be fine also. Apply the liner to the main part of your top eyelid gradually building it up to a thick line. Then apply a thin line to the lower lid and smudge a little. Then apply the liner to the inner corners lightly. Then you can work on the flick. Don't make it too exaggerated.

If your happy with that you can move on to brows. First brush out your brows and apply colour where needed to fill in the bits of your brows where you're not happy with the consistency. Then apply a clear mascara over them. nothing too special with this it just keeps the hairs in place all day.

Next apply mascara and a nude/pale pink lip gloss and you're done with the look!

Whilst there was no Kristen at the Teen Choice Awards last night she still managed to take home 4 awards so congratulations to our girl.

Megan Fox was in attendance last night however wearing the same Isabel Marant Fall 2010 Collection Lamé Tulip Skirt that Kristen previously wore in Vogue back in May. Whilst i like Megan's whole look from the waist down i feel her patterned top ruins the skirt. The shirt in my opinion is much better suited to the accompany the skirt and i love Kristen's Jill Sander Military boots with this look.

FACE
Apply foundation in a semi-thick layer. Make sure it gives you good coverage. To help with this use a foundation brush. Apply foundation from your forehead to your jaw making sure to blend here very well. Then apply powder in a light layer. Add a highlighting formula to your cheek bones if you do not own the Avno foundation I have used. Your face must have a glow to it. Then apply a light coloured bronzer to your temples, cheekbones and jaw line. Make sure it’s a light layer. Make it subtle.

EYES
After applying the usual primer, apply a teal coloured eye liner in a thick line to your lash line. Then taking a thin brush, blend and smudge the colour upwards. Then taking the thin brish again, apply the lightest shade of teal to your eye lid only. Then using the same brush take a medium shade of teal to outline the sockets. Then taking the darkest teal apply and blend the colours with a fluffy blending brush. Then apply mascara and you’re done with your eyes.

LIPS
Put a bit of foundation on your lips as a base, then apply a natural nude colour of lip gloss. Or a nude lipstick and add clear gloss to make it shine.

Now you’re done with the look, hope you enjoy it!

On The Road Filming Begins Today

Happy Monday all! I’m back from my trip and had an absolutely wonderful time. There is nothing in the way of news, I'm beginning to miss Kristen and her steeze but again I'm pleased she is getting some down time away from the paparazzi.

Today marks the first day of On the Road filming, I'm lead to believe Kristen will be filming her part for around 6 weeks so we should look for her to finish around mid September. I’m extremely excited about this project being brought to life and hopefully some fans will manage to snap a few pictures of Kristen in her 1950’s costume.

Below is some artwork made by fans for On The Road, if you have any feel free to send me them in and I'll attach them to this post.

Who Wore It Better?

You may remember this colourful Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2010 Collection sweater and skirt Kristen wore to the New Moon London Fan Event in November 2009. I loved the whole look entirely, her hair was styled to perfection and most of of she looked comfortable. The outfit consists of a Tiered Ruffled Eyelash Full Skirt and a Silk Knit Jacquard Sweater. Kristen paired her outfit with some fantastic Chanel jewellery and some Gucci patent pumps.

I’ve included two models also wearing this Proenza Schouler outfit however i would bear in mind these pictures have been photoshopped before print, Kristen's has not. Several other have proceeded to wear only Silk Knit Jacquard Sweater but in this instance I'm looking for those who dared to wear the entire sweater/skirt combo.

FACE
Usual steps for the face; primer the foundation and powder and blusher applied on the cheekbones and jaw line. Spend time on your base. Kristen’s skin is always flawless so make sure your base is too.

EYES
Start by applying primer to your eyelids. Then using an angular brush or a regular brow pencil, fill you brows in. you want them to be a dark brown. Make them soft and rounded, not angular and rigid looking. Then apply a warm brown as a base on your eye lid and lower, outer lid. Then using a dark chocolate brown colour, apply it to your eye lid only. No eyeliner is needed for this look as the dark brown would simply swamp any liner you apply. Then apply mascara.

LIPS
You want a reddish-pink for the lips. Make it glossy also.

Kristen was first spotted in February wearing the Market Milla superfine jersey boyfriend tee during press for The Yellow Handkerchief and has proceeded to wear it on a number of occasions including Regis and Kelly (march 2010) and most recently bowling with her On The Road cast mates.

Kristen has also graced the Market Milla ottoman stripe boyfriend tee. Whilst a similar style the tee features a cotton/modal jersey brush. Another who wore it better post here, i have another ‘Inside Kristen’s Closet’ post coming up within the next few days so check back for that around Wednesday. I’m aware Kristen was spotted bowling with her ‘On The Road’ cast mates Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund on Saturday night, I'm glad she’s getting around without the paparazzi. (I’m all about On The Road right now, I'm reading the book. If any of you have read it leave me your thoughts.)

Kristen wore an Alexander Wang Draped Sequin Mini Dress during her shoot with Robert Pattinson for Harpers Bazaar last year. The navy cowl-neck mini dress features directional drapes and a shimmering sequined finish. Several other stars have graced this dress on the red carpet including Lindsay Lohan, Natasha Poly and Tamara Ecclestone.

So all is quiet on the Kristen front, there isn’t much to blog so expect some more ‘Inside Kristen’s Closet’ posts in the coming week. If you have a request just leave me it in the comments box and i will get to it as soon as i can. I’m glad Kristen seems to be in a pap free environment in Montreal, i can not wait to see her in character for On The Road. I’m going to begin reading the novel so I'll let you know my thoughts on the character when it’s complete.

Leaving Troubador

Kristen attended Bobby Longs gig a few days ago. I originally hadn’t planned to post this look due to the pap pictures floating around of Kristen looking really uncomfortable. This post has very few pictures from the actual night in it, I've only used pictures of Kristen's arrival at the Four Seasons hotel.

Kristen’s outfit was very casual, i love that she goes for comfort first. She wore some J Brand 912 low-rise pencil leg jeans which you can purchase here for $185. She paired her jeans with her favourite Market Milla Boyfriend Tee in grey, you can purchase this tee here for $37. If purchasing the tee I'd go for either true size or a size smaller because the tee itself is very loose. She finished the look off nicely with her Keds Champion Not Too Shabby Laceless Twill Sneakers in Taupe which can be purchased here for $50.

Again another great casual look from Kristen, they are probably my favourite looks to blog.

Make Up Fridays

Eye
After applying facial primer, foundation and powder, apply a shadow primer to your eyelids. Then using a fluffy blending brush, apply a warm brown colour as a base. Next apply a silver shadow to your eyelid only and lower lid. You can do one of two things here. You can either do what I have done and use the Heavy Metal as your eye shadow or you can use a strong silver eye shadow. If you use the Heavy Metal apply the eyeliner first. Use a liquid liner and apply it to the tear duct and outwards on the top lid only making the line thicker as you go outwards and draw a subtle flick at the end of the eye. Then apply the glitter liner as a shadow to the top lid above the liner. If you are using a shadow apply the shadow first and then the liner.

Next using a pencil liner in black apply to the waterline of your lower lid. You can also apply a tiny layer of the Heavy metal as an added effect on the lower lid. Then apply mascara and you’re done with the look. For lip colour all you need is a clear gloss or a natural looking pink shade. Keep it natural for the lips as usual.

Eyes
It’s important for this look to apply your eye makeup first and then your foundation seeing as there are quite heavy colours involved. Start by applying the usual primer and apply the Barry m colour as a base in the eye lid only. You can extend the colour past the crease but only slightly. Apply this colour to the outer half of the lower lid. Then apply the Last Call colour to the inner corner of the top lid pushing the colour in the inner corner and a little way past the crease. Then apply Oil Slick or a black to the outer corner and the outer portion of the lower lid. Then push the black above the pink/purple in the inner corner. Then apply the polyester bride or white underneath the brow to highlight.

Then apply eyeliner to the water line starting in the inner corner. Apply this to the top and bottom lids.

Face
If you’re using the Avon foundation there won’t be any need for primer or highlighter but if you aren’t just apply your normal primer and foundation. Apply powder to the jaw and lower portion of the cheeks, chin and neck.

Then apply mascara and you’re done with the look.

Last night Gemma Arterton attended the Net-A-Porter 10th birthday party in the same Prada dress we saw Kristen wearing in the Elle UK June 2010 issue. The dress in question is from the Prada Fall 2010 collection and features a balconette of lace ruffles along the bust area. The ruffles being a key feature of the dress were watered down for Gemma’s version therefore I'm personally going with Kristen on this one.

Leaving Sam Bradley’s Concert

Kristen was out last night with Robert Pattinson watching his good friend Sam Bradley’s concert at the Hotel Cafe in LA.

Kristen wore a Dwarves Toolin' for A Warm Teabag Tee, i searched for a link to purchase this tee today but it was unsuccessful unfortunately. You can however purchase a black version of the tee here for $15.99. If i find a link at some point i will add it in here. The tee was a nice fit and looked to have been slightly out of shape at the hem line due to her knotting (the K-knot was absent unfortunately). She teamed the tee with her Nobody Rebel Denim Leggings which she has worn previously whilst travelling during New Moon promo. You can purchase her leggings here for $149. She finished off the look with some Keds Champion Black Canvas Sneakers.

Perhaps it was the outfit, the new hair colour or the slightly sun kissed skin but Kristen was looking stunning last night in my opinion.

Visiting the Jewish Memorial, Berlin

Kristen had some free time in Berlin and she chose to to visit the Jewish Memorial ground. She kept her outfit very casual and comfortable, in other words very Kristen. She chose a Vague Clothing Men's Square Hoodie which can be purchased here for a pricey $179. Vague Clothing is an Australian designer so my guess is she either purchased it when she and Taylor visited Sydney or was given it as a gift by the company. Kristen’s appears from a distance to white version but after examining HQs it appears to be the slightly off white version shown below. Either way the men’s fit explains why it was so loose on her tiny frame as opposed to the male model. She paired the hooded top with some James Icon Warhol Cargo Skinny Jeans and some Keds Champion Not Too Shabby Laceless Twill Sneakers which can be purchased here for $50. Again her sneakers appear in light to be white but i believe them to be the ‘Taupe’ version shown below after examining HQs. A casual yet surprisingly fashionable look.

Inside Kristen’s Closet: Converse

It’s been a while since we’ve had an ‘Inside Kristen’s Closet’ post due to the Eclipse promotional tour and now that it’s over i have a few of these posts to bring to you over the next few weeks. I saw Eclipse yesterday and it is definitely my favourite of the saga so far, but then again Eclipse was my favourite book. I loved Kristen’s acting and there were so many sweet moments between her and Edward. Loved Xavier, Jasper, Rosalie and Charlie. Have any of you saw it? Did you enjoy it? Feel free to leave your thoughts.

I picked Converse for this particular post because it is a solid favourite of Kristen’s. She owns several (I've lost count) pairs of converses in a variety of colours and designs. For some reason whether it be a casual outing or glammed up Kristen never fails to make Converses look good with anything. The MTV Movie Awards 2009 springs to mind instantly as a classic, i don’t think any other actress would have dared to wear Converses on the red carpet yet Kristen made it seem effortless and surprisingly chic.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Converse will continue to be a brand favourite of Kristen's whether it be………
